wooden bowl

When i read this story i didn't know what to say. I thought to myself how could they do that to a loved one and how would they feel if they couldnt do anythhing right. It wasnt like he chose to be old and frail. It really annoyed me that the son and daughter-in-law couldn't see how upset he was. They were being extremely selfish and they seperated him from everyone, like he was not important. To me this relates to empathy in C.A.R.E.S because you have to realize how others feel and be empathetic towards their disabilities. I think the moral to this story is put yourself in the other person's shoes. It is like the golden rule, Treat others the way YOU want to be treated. If you wouldn't want it done to you then don't do it to others.
